ONLY are a screamo/post-hardcore band based in Berlin, Germany. Their music reflects the diverse cultural and musical backgrounds of the members, who hail from Venezuela, Scotland, and Italy. ONLY’s sound is rooted in early 2000s screamo but draws from a wide spectrum of hardcore, straddling the lines between catharsis, aggression, melody, and dissonance.

The band formed in late 2021. Their debut EP “I” dropped in 2022 on Shove Records. In 2023, they embarked on their first European tour across Germany, Italy and Czechia and recorded three tracks, later released in 2024 on a split with Barabbas, du förtappade.

ONLY have since shared stages with some of the most influential acts in the screamo subgenre, including Pg. 99, Raein, Jeromes Dream and City of Caterpillar. They’ve become an active part of Berlin’s thriving screamo scene and a growing community of bands across Europe.

2025 was a pivotal year for ONLY, culminating in the release of their debut album, “EYES WIDE OPEN”, on Dec 5 2025. The vinyl edition was co-produced by a collective of independent labels, and the record established ONLY’s distinctive voice within European screamo.

ONLY have not rested on their laurels in 2026, writing material for their next release and embarking on a north-western European tour, including several shows supporting scene legends Loma Prieta.

With half a decade of commitment to the project, ONLY have established themselves as a formidable live act that continues to evolve creatively.
